    Hi all, planning to start aquascaping with a fluval spec. Dunno what can be done. .but like the clean looks of iguwami..driftwood seems to be an easier start though.. I also like mini fissile too. .dunno it can go well with iguwami tanks

    anyway its gonna be a LT NNano tank for sure, any recommendations? On plants , equipment (nano seems easier to start cuz everything is together nice n clean), etc...

    Thanks!

    hi solidbrik,

    find it difficult to read what you are trying to say. it is all broken up. Anyway, SMs lingo is not encourage here. Anyway, If you like a simple clean look, you can check out Urban bro blog for ideas. http://www.urbanaquaria.com/2013_01_01_archive.html

    hi there,

    you need to do some research before jumping into this hobby.
    A lot of people were too fast too furious...

    you want to do a low tech iwagumi?

    iwagumi (Japanese for rock arrangement). NOT iguwami

    fissile = fissiden
    LT means what? little, litre?

    SMS lingo is not allowed, even when you and me may understand "some". not everyone understands the SMS shorthand we use locally.

    Not much information is written for the lights. Looking at the 19 ltr fluval spec, they just write 37 powerful LED lights, i would assume low to medium light demand plants will work. High ones will not fare so well. So it depends on what carpetting plants you choose.

    Haha..poison is right..A fluval is already about $168..so if i have to top up minimal to get a better setup..can consider too. Rather than have to sell and restart in future..haha

    Re: newbie from punggol

    Is there a one stop place where we can see all the brand tanks ah? I was looking at nano tanks previously because they provide a one stop filter/pump etc all in one solution. Rather than buying an empty tank and then a serperate filter separate pump etc..don't know if I should carry on this line of search or just get tanks and serperate items..

    I will recommend Seaview near jalan kayu. Since they carry a huge range of product and pack/arrange quite proper, think of it like a aquarium NTUC (local supermarket) so it is good for setting up your 1st tank.

    Re: newbie from punggol

    whether to get an all in one tank or not, is a choice. It depends how much you want to be able to customise your fish tank "capabilities"/ equipment. If you are fish crazy, always go fish shop to be poison then a customisable will better suit you, so you can swap out things to your preference. Lazy? just get a pre build one, less hassle but do not complain.
