I have always assume there is only one intense model. What are the difference between the models?

Torex and circular is just the shape, then there is expert and basic torex/circular.

Expert has a valve made in japan under SMC which is the superior one, basic is made in korea by sang-A, there is not much visual difference except for the valve part, but expert supposingly is able to maintain a constant bubble count better than basic.

I saw this Intense regulator before at LFS and it really looks good, best to match with a nice shiny aluminium Co2 tank and then display next to the tank or in a custom glass stand... it looks way too cool to be kept hidden in a wood cabinet.

You are very very right man. I held it, felt it and had to fight the hell off myself from buying it on the spot.

What helped me shake off is that the working pressure is not adjustable, I'm not sure if it can stay consistent with the Bazooka atomizer although its made from the same people, read that it is pre-set at about 3 bar only.

Tatguy, your tank looks very good! Feels much bigger than 2 feet.

Haha it is not just good looking, it works well too.

I am using a basic torex one with a 45mm atomizer from Intense. It works but at the start you just have to wait about 1 or 2 mins for the pressure to build up before it starts misting. I tried it out with ANS regulators also, and the same thing happens. It is because the atomizer is super fine so higher pressure is needed before it can work. The bigger ones take lesser time because of the larger surface area.

Thanks haha i was wondering if i am getting the effect. because i am near it the whole day and it just does not feel big haha

1 month 1 week later. Realised 1 light not enough when taller plant cover up light haha, so i trimmed the taller ones and remove and replanted part of the monte carlo that melted on the left.
