You need around 200-300 L/H. My recommendations is Eheim 2211, not sure what is the new product code is, they rename it few years back.

Hi, Im using a 2211 till yesterday when it broke down on me. The bottom connector in canister was lose and I over tightened it, it broke. Had a hard time priming it and cleaning. So am considering HOF now. But also looking at Eheim aquacompact. Any consideration for these choices? Fluval C series VS Eheim Aquacompact?
Importantly need to know whether C328 is open today anot? Thanks!!
heard from other forum , C328 and Polyart were open throughout CNY
C328 not open on cny, they're open today if my memory serves me well. all other lfs also slowly to start opening up today also

On my way there now. Pray hard haha. Thanks all.
But still got to chose what filter to get. If I get a HOF, sound like a downgrade from eheim 2211. But the position of my tank really need something can be put beside the tank rather than below. Also since its in my bedroom, need it to be quiet. Love the Fluval c series but worried about noise, anyone can advise?

never used that before, but dolphin hob filter is quiet, I'm currently using it. fluval, I only got it's airpump, surprisingly quiet compared to most air pimp sold out there.

or you can try gex, I've seen many people here using gex hob filters, as for type, I got no idea

It's open today :-)
Also it's super crowded as usual.
Anyway I opted for the Gex slim filter. Think there's a price drop and got it for less than $30 compared to my preferred fluval c 30 @$65. Price matters haha.
Now hope it's really quiet filter.
Also bought silicone glue hoping can fix my eheim 2211.

For quite filter you might want to try internal filter. Limited filter media, unsightly but quite
Not sure which part you broke but you can get eheim spare part to replace.
Nothing beats the quietness of internal filtersHOBs can have quiet motors but unless you fill the tank to the very brim (not an option for jumping fish) there can be a trickling noise...some find relaxing...some find nerve wrecking XD
My Fluval U series internal is really quiet...absolute no noise at allgotta check for surface agitation to make sure it is on^^ ZERO decibel^^
The Gex slim filter seemed Cools for now. Pretty quiet and powerful. Only issues is small capacity for ceramic media.
Is it advisable for me to remove the filter pad that came with it and replace them with ceramic media?
Also my tank seems milky now so sad. Maybe bacterial boom?

Can replace with ceramic media. Bacteria bloom nevermind de small problem lol
