Hi, looks promising. What is the light spec? Looks like you need more light. Once the plants grow all you have to do is to trim it neatly. I think from there the tank will look much neat.
Newbie setup. Love plants therefore set up this small garden on my table in my bedroom.
Any advise for plants substitution to neaten it? It's quite messy now.
Any suggestions to cover my new Gex slim filter? Thinking of Moss wall?

I agree, your tank is pretty neat. My 30cm cube is real messy. I like that 2 white cap, what's growing on it?
Actually i find it nice, very dutch style.

Shall wait for my glosso and some other erect Moss, weeping Moss to settle down before I do timing and see how then :-)
The white cap is a floating ball which is hold down by a weight. Meant to create a floating Moss ball. The left one I put flame Moss which is growing well, but the right one I used weeping Moss which is very very slow.

Looks good. I don't find the filter obstructing at all. The plants will cover it eventually.

looks brighter now hahaha ... the plants should grow better now
Latest photo from my tank.
Still pondering the ideas of neaten my tank by removing the Ferns background. Also super keen on Bucephalandra. Any advice on this beautiful plant?

Are you using fertilizers? From my experience, without fertilizers and CO2, the colour will not be beautiful. iron will bring out the redness in them. So far , I have not achieved the "blueness" in them.
Oh, l am talking about buce

Backside itchy. Bought some lava rocks and revamped the tank again. I find its neater now.

Such a beautiful tank.
Can such a tank be achieved without CO2?
I use Seachem Flourish Excel and I get nowhere near such results
If u see carefully the plant I chose mostly low requirements one. Except if you wan the carpet glosso I do boost the growth with co2. But my plant is to keep this as simple, as low maintenance as possible. So I plan to remove co2 once everything settled down. Just daily dose of Excel and topping up of water only. Also due to zero nitrate zero nitrite, I hadn't do water change for very long already.

Nice! Good Job!
Shifted it out of my bedroom already. Now in my living room where more people can get to enjoy it. Also due to "Feng shui" maybe I'm turning uncle already.
Recently added lots of lava rocks and expensive Bucephalandra. Hope everything grows well as before. Hope my favourite yellow shrimps breed more too!!
