I just put up this tank..... Need help..... Super Ugly.... What could I do?
Teacher Ckaidi, could you give me some spotlight to guide me....
Thanks you very much....
I'm really a newbie here too. Can share my journey with you but lots of masters here who can give you more guide.
Can see your tank is a really small one. So type of plant selection is very crucial. Standard guidelines are defining the foreground, mid and background. Making a slope with background higher will helps making your tank looks bigger. That's why you can find people classified plants as foreground or background plant.
Don't be afraid to ask questions here and don't be afraid to make adjustments and rescapings. Most importantly enjoy the process!!

Actually, my substrate is a slope... But after putting stuff in.... It've become kinda flat again....
After I seen yours.... I feel mine is horrible... I believe must be due to background plant....
Going to rescape it for sure.... But limited space constrain... sAd
Nice and lovely tank! Love the color mixture of the plants...
Irvinechen, try adding some stone as the foundation of your slope.
I think u did an impressive job. I like it a lot!
