Yes you can. Make sure you put into your luggage to check in. Keep it in a plastic bag tied without water but with moisture.

Tried to wrap it with paper (newspaper) right after you take it out of water
before put into a container or plastic bags,
the paper will be a little bit wet so it can retained the moisture for a few hours (> 24 hours)...
Put inside zip lock bag with some moisture will do, 1-3 days should be ok.

just went to Ming Quan East Road to walk walk. Saw some amazing landscape but not allow to take photo as they are entering awards.
Not aiming for rare plants as I am only doing small 1ft by 1ft for fun after stopping for 5 years.
Will take some when I go there on my last day to buy. I have some interest landscape photo during my last trip will post some tonight. Going to pingxi lantern festival now.
Just switch off the flash and take photo or from far take photo, this is what i do when i was in HK.

Yes but they dont allow photo now. The scape are more mature than the one above now.
