    I would say it is all about a balancing act, with some blue spectrum, that is fine, however, if your nutrient balance is off, the blue spectrum may lead to a certain algae type.

    This would be more representative and easily interpreted to the layman. Else the layman maybe worried of anything with blue.

    I personally think the center rock is fine with or without algae.

    Once your base is covered in green, the natural rock colour would contrast the base and look good.

    Then again, that is me, different man has a different taste

    Finally got the CO2 drop checker going last night, and after settling down for a few hours, the colour is slightly yellowish.

    Have also adjusted the Maxspect lighting to 75%, after I spotted a few specks of GSA on the glass, performed my 50% WC and began dosing PO4 today.

    Will continue to observe and titrate accordingly.
