    The one in the picture is actually cladophora algae, made into a ball. Sometimes called marimo ball. I don't think java moss can grow into a ball like that.

    Its possible to tie java moss to the sponges and they will eventually grow entwined into it (like how they are tied to wood and rocks)... but you'll need to keep trimming it regularly to maintain the ball shape.

    It'll be easier to just get marimo balls instead.

    I hace two tub of Christmas moss refrigerator I now just want to find ways to put them in my 2feet tank
