questions about surface skimmer

may i know what a surface skimmer is.....
if i want to get rid off my rain bar... what other options i can replace my rain bar

Try to do a search for "surface skimmer" in AQ. You can find more answers.

If you don't need a rain bar, you need not replace it with anything. They should still be adequate water flow in the tank.
