I pretty sure your sword tail will eat them
Hi,
I have a midge fly problem.
Currently my 15 gal tank is cycled and stocked with 4 panda corydoras and 1 sword tail.
I'm currently facing an issue with these insects... I'm not sure how they first appeared in my tank but I know my fishes don't eat them so they reproduce with threat of any predator..
I want to know if there are any fishes, that would love to make those pests in every stage of their life cycle, their snack any day.
Best would be those that will actively hunt for them.
I have a few options in mind but many fish guides only state that these fishes eat mosquitoes so I'm not sure if they eat midges too
1) Guppies
2) White Cloud Mountain Minnows
3) Zebra Danios
Any more suggestions?
My tank is about 28 degrees.
PH is about 7.3
Thanks and regards
