Hi Fellow AQ members,
My current 1ft tank is located on my air conditioned office table. The plants was first grown onto the branches and soil using the Dry Start Method for about 2.5 months. After that I flooded it and doze it with excel daily till now (approx. 1 month).Water change 20% every 2 days and doze with Shi zhen. The Substrate base I layed it with borneowild products such as Minerax and crystal. Plants on branch is mini ricca (grown using yogurt method) and on substrate is Micranthemum Monte Carlo http://www.tropica.com/en/plants/pla...n.aspx?pid=025 and also Utricularia graminifolia
http://www.tropica.com/en/plants/pla....aspx?pid=049B.
I intend to keep Cherrys or CRS after another 1 month. Any comments on such as how to plant, re structure, what to keep etc and tips is welcome. Thanks in advance. !
Riccia is an aquatic floating plant of the liverwort genus Riccia, unless you have tied them down to the branches, eventually they will float away as they do not take root onto any particular surfaces.
It seems to have rooted onto the branches. I blended it with yogurt and painted it onto the branches. Grew it during the dry syart period.
You what ? Blend with yoghurt and it grows ? Works with moss ?

I am, for sure, one who is really keen to find out how you 'blend' plants without killing them. Please share. If it is true... we have a new way of tying plants to DW...

Hi, basically I did research on the dry start method. Some of the websites I used:

Not mini ricca, but mini pelia. Very nicely spreading your driftwood. Good job.
