    Hi guys,
I got the inline Up aqua co2 automiser a few days back but it appears to be clogged now.

Any ideas how to unclog it?
Other forum suggest 50:50 bleach n water.

I'm just cautious as I m afraid some residual bleach might somehow find it's way into the aquarium. Any others suggestions?

A few days and its clogged? I find it highly unlikely. Would suggest to check all connections before thinking that the atomiser is faulty as it needs higher working pressure and that might just pop one of the various connections in your tubing

but bleach which is chlorine can be made safe by overdosing antichlorine solution and soak it before returning it to the aquarium. Of course before that rinse it well with running water

Yeah I thought it was my solenoid or the tubing. But it turns out it is really the automiser! The co2 doesn't escape anywhere. The pressure builts up until my co2 canister can no longer push out any more bubbles no matter how much I open the valve. The pressure was so strong that it cracked the plastic check valve output nozzle. I unplugged everything and tried it a few times but it really seems to be the automiser. Will get it changed tmr since it is only the third day. Prolly bought a Lemon.

Will hydrogen peroxide work in unclogging as well?

Have you try connecting directly to the out of the solenoid? I suspect it could be due to leakage somewhere. I used to have such issue and I also have the thinking that the atomizer was charged but it turned out that there is a leakage at my outlet of the bubble counter.

What is your working pressure? this inline diffuser required 36psi or more. If really clog, you can use H2O2 and syringe.

Thank you all for your advice! The contraption was indeed blocked. I have changed it to a glass inline diffuser.
