Dear experience seniors,

Can I check with you all how you do a colour comparison with the test tube and the colour chart?

Do u press the test-tube against and resting on the white background or do u hold the test tube up against but not resting on the white background?
The 2 different methods seem to affect the colour, the colour of the solution in the test tube bring pressed against and made to rest against a white background seem a lot darker then the other method

Which is the correct method to get the most accurate results?

You can use the test kit on distilled water to get a 'reference' colour.

It's worth it if you need those test kits. Consist of 5 test kits (ph, high ph, Ammonia, nitrite and nitrate) else you just but individuals what you need.
