    Hi guys,

My tank has been doing fine, with all plants growing and fishes healthy.
However, after I installed the Eheim surface skimmer, my CO2 indicator started to show blue (insufficient CO2) for 3 days now, and part of my glosso are dying off. I switch my surface skimmer power to somewhere to the low side, as there are air bubbles that spits out if its too powerful.

Is the surface skimmer the reason why my CO2 level is low? Helpful comments will be appreciated.
    Thank you!

Skimmer will increase water surface to air ratio which affects the exchange of games to the water.

Is your protein alot on water surface? Some people use airstone also work...

You can drive a skimmer with a separately using powered. Or just buy stand alone skimmer which you can control it's operation timing.
