hi all,
recently just started fire red, previously had a batch of red cherry but now only left with 5...
anyway, I saw some of the seniors here have got some mosura products like old sea mud powder and mineral plus etc, may I know what are these for?
I did a google and found that these products provide minerals for the shrimps, like trace minerals etc,
my question is,
1) these so called trace minerals is the same as of those for plants??
2) are these really needed for shrimp tanks? if so what does it really do?
3) maybe in the future if I were to upgrade to crs, do I need all these products??
4)are these products beneficial to my current fire red shrimp tank setup and what benefit does it provide for my shrimps??
sorry, just want to know more about these products before I actually use it, as googling only got me to selling sites and does not show much information about how beneficial these products are for shrimps.
Would appreciate if any seniors here can provide some insights on these products.. thanks a million!

Im not a senior but here are my opinons
if you are using distilled water or RO water u will need these trace minerals(otherwise normal tap water then no need) since shrimps also need some of the minerals for their growth.
You probably just need old sea mud powder.

Well, it is useless for fire red, but for shrimp that need low ph you can use mineral plus with osmosis water.
Old mud sea can be used to replace the mineral that disappear, if you don't change water.
For crs it is important to have the right parameters to get better colours so it's quite usefull for crs.
