Apparently, there is no one here that sells Eco-complete.

The distributor for Caribsea is Paradiz Reef. However, there is no plan to bring it to sell.

In the us this is the best selling substrate that i have seen.

Cost importing it may be high though but if you lfs carries other products by caribsea then get on them about getting this great product.

Been looking for this locally in Singapore without success.

If I'm in New York in Nov, how practical is it to order online and have it delivered to my hotel during the week. I'll lugged a bag back.....

There, http://aquariumplant.com/cgi-bin/cart/SS695.html , ships to singapore too apparently. The interesting thing is that although it costs us1 per 20lb bag, shipping cost is us70 for 1 bag. However the good news is that when I try entering 5 bags or more and then the recalculate button on my shopping cart, then the shippings costs are apparently zero. ie 100lb costs usd55. If true, then its really quite an amazing deal.

I just noticed this little paragraph:
"Our shopping cart system will automatically compute shipping charges on orders UP TO 150 lbs (7 - 20lbs bags) There are no "added on" charges after your order is placed. "
So maybe there's still a shipping cost but they'll email you the cost to confirm the order with you first?

It went to zero due to Fedex ....

"Note: 109.5 LB is too heavy for FedEx International Priority Service
We need the bold fields to process your order"

imho though, in singapore there is flourite, onyx, aqua clay, ada, volcanit, azoo, (and two other japanese brands, forgot what they are, hirose and taiho? ) ... hardly think there is much room for other brands to compete..

I use it, it's light weight, makes re/planting somewhat a nusiance vs onyx sand.

    Aesthetically it's nice in appearance.
I'd like it to be smaller grained sized and more consistent in grain sizing.

None of the substrates are going to make your plants grow better vs another with these vs flourite, Onyx, Florabase, Aquatic plant soil, MPV turface etc, they all work for the same reason.

Porous grains and some trace metals.
    That's about all that's required.

I like it to be heavy, finer grained etc.
