H.e.l.p advanced soil question

Hi all. I've recently purchased this substrate. Has anyone used this? Is this suitable for plants? I searched and it appears there are two types, for shrimps and for plants. This one doesn't state what it is for. I want to grow a glosso carpet. Now I'm starting to wonder maybe aquasoil powder is more suitable for my small tank. This soil is alright for glosso. Aqua soil powder is smaller grained compared to this.
