Is it leaking from the part that your turn to release the gas from the tank. There is an actual valve that screws into the tank itself. I am not sure if there is a gasket in there or not. If it is leaking from any place that screws together you should wrap it with a good bit of Teflon tape or use some liquid Teflon to spread around the threads.

I always read that teflon tapes are discouraged in gas pipes connection. I did get to understand why. However, teflon tapes are usually used for water pipes instead.

I used a red teflon based liquid on my threads. Its supposed to be for gas pipes. It just helps create a better seal. I do not see why teflon tape should not be used though. When I played paintball all we used was teflon tape for all fittings. That was running off c02 and for some people with a lot of money nitrogen.

The reason (i think ) teflon should not be used is it can cover the whole and cause big problems. I know milwaukee does not reccommend using teflon with their products

With c02 the pressure is usally really high so it would blow through the thin Teflon tape. If they recommend not using it though there are always other things youc an use.

    Pressure gas cylinders

When you turn the CO2 gas on, the pressure gauge shows "0" pressure and you hear hissing sound, there is definitely a leak at the connections prior to the gauge (or even at the gauge itself).

Typically gas circuits/connections do not need Teflon tape to seal leaks, rubber/silicon O-rings and gaskets will normally be used instead. Check your connections are properly and securely done.

WARNING : Pressurised cylinders can become dangerous projectiles or explosives if not used/handled as specified.
