    Hi, I'm still cycling my tank after 3 weeks and I notice that there are tiny (really tiny) white things with tail swimming around the glass surface. (sorry no pics, they really small)

    Qn: Are these parasites?

    If yes, then how do I get rid of them? Is it advisable to add fish/shrimps? (would they 'makan' the white specs?)

    Thanks in advance for any kind advice

    My tank setup (so far):

    Atman 3337 Cannister filter
    3x1.5x1.5 tank
    3inch sand bed
    20kg live rock

    Water parameters:
    NH4 (according to seachem Amonia Alert = Safe Level)
    PH = around 8.3[/b]
    Life is about making mistakes and learning from them.
