    Re: Sulawesi anyone?

    Hey all,

I want to set up a new tank with Sulawesi Mineral 8.5 to house Sulawesi Cardinal Shrimp. I have got RO to mineralize with Sulawesi Mineral.

Apart from these 2 core elements (RO + Sulawesi Mineral) is there any other core elements or "must to buy" for Cardinals?

    Regards

    Re: Sulawesi anyone?

Hello all, i am still keeping sulawesi lifestock. for 2 years already.
its about luck. trial and error. some species may work for some people, some may not.
different parts of sg have different tap water parameters so hard to tell.
i have been topping up with filtered water and my cardinals breed from time to time. now my new generation havent mature to breed yet.
my canister filter broke down two days ago, i replaced with a gex L overhead filter. no deaths so far
    fingers crossed
I keep sulawesi shrimps, tetras, birds, exotic pets, herptiles and monster fishes.

I also started my Sulawesi Tank with RO water, Sulawesi Mineral 7.5, red moor with java moss, dolomite, lava rocks and HMF filter.

So far only poso snails I have been keeping and wait for a while until I get some C. Dennerli. Here are few shots from my tank, any comments are welcome.

    Hi @kennethc,

I am not from Singapore from Turkey and got those snails from a friend who imported them from Indonesia. BTW your C. Dennerli looks awesome.
