Fire red shrimps or pygmy cory?

Hi guys! Currently have a 2ft tank with OHF and light with 5 marimo balls, hairgrass and javamoss. Black quartz sand is the substrate. May I know whether I should choose fire red shrimps or pygmy corys if I am intending to breed?

whats the temperature of the tank? and is the black quartz rounded and not sharp?

Temperature around 24~25 degree Celsius and the black quartz is sharp.

erm.. then i recommend fire shrimp.

sharp substrate and cory's barbles is not a good combination. might damage the barbles.
