I think the image server (www.photobucket.com) was down for a while. Should be ok. Picture seems fine to me.

    Thanks guys...

They were brought back from overseas. Can't really seem to find good quality ones locally these days.

They can keep in the planted tank, but not with community fish.

    Hi guys,

Lost all of my beautiful super red cacas.....

Has anyone seen them anywhere recently? Seem like the apisto scene is rather quiet recently.

Thought they were pretty popular with planted tank folks a few years back..

Unfortunately, by the time I got there, there was only 1 pair left. Not an ideal specimen so I passed on that. Bought Apistogramma agassizii and Apistogramma nijsseni instead.

I saw a nice super red caca pair at Biotope the other day.

I like the cacas too but I prefer the wild-type cacatuoides over the variants.

Yes. I was there last week and saw about 3 pairs. Unfortunately, I prefer "super red", not "super orange".

Okay so you saw that orange tone.

Anyway, I think there's still a few people breeding the super red and triple red cacas. You could try asking the apisto keepers around. What about francis?
