I've always thought it would be a nifty idea to do something similar with cheap compact bar fridges too (i actually have one right next to a tank at the office), but never went so far as to drill holes in the sides and connect coils of hoses inside. Since the fridge is basically still intact after the modification, it can actually still be used to store and cool drinks and stuff inside too.
