    Hi all,

I'm going away on a short 1wk holiday, but still would like to maintain my fertlisation regime whilst I'm away, if that's possible.

I'm dosing on alternative days KNO3 and KHPO4 crystals, and also liquid fertlisers like Seachem Flourish and Iron.

I was wondering if there's an automatic doser available in the market, that'll enable me to dispense both liquid and solids at the same time?

The plants are doing great now, and BGA is gone now, so I hope my vacation would not jepoardise and compromise my setup, and thus hoping to keep up with my regime.

    Anyone?

    Cheers,

    Kenny

Kenny, there's a product by Eheim called 3585 Liquidoser. Pretty expensive but good enough for your usage with regards to liquids. As for dispensing solids, a normal automatic fishfood feeder would do quite well. Get those cheap ones or if you want better quality, go for those from Hydor or Eheim. Hope it helps.

    Hi Jian Yang,

Hmm....looks like I need 2 different dosers, no 2-in-1 available?

Kenny, I've 2 of those Eheim ones but are in my toybox somewhere. They may or may not be working (still have the box and un-opened fertilizer sachet).

Drop by and it's yours on long term loan

Drop the lights down to 1.5-2w/g should slow things down real good. Dose the tank just before the trip and you are good and dandy..no need to waste money here. Free and good..more wiggle room and less issues if any.

    Regards
    Peter Gwee
