    Hi,
I found a strange centipede like bug in the water in a bowl that I kept my fish in while I cleaned my freshwater tank. I put a dime in the water so you can see how small it is and I'm wondering if anyone knows what it is. It doesn't look like the pictures of bristle worms I looked up. I bought a freshwater plant and a snail from a pet store and am wondering if it was in the plant.

Could be a baby centipede... the plants from LFS are usually grown emersed so all sorts of terrestrial critters hitchhike on them. I always spot numerous ones when i clean and quarantine my newly bought plants.
