Growing Egeria and Cabomba in High lighting

I've also experienced accelerated growth and increase internodal distances for my Cabomba. Also don't know what is the cause but perhaps excess nutrients is the culprit?

my shrimps seem to love munching it...
now only left the stem after 1 wk introduction to my 2ft with yamato, red-nose, neon green, cherry, rainbow.....

I believe that Elodea is a low light plant.

It can handle low light, doesn't mean it likes it, it's just ebter than most plants, Hydrilla is even better.

Both of these live in full tropical noon day sun and grow well floating on the surface also.

Very tough to get rid of.
Both these and Camboba are very bad pest here in the CA, USA.
