Hi All,

Just joined this forum. Pretty interesting and informative forum. Although I just joined, I've been reading some amount of posting for the past month.

Quite enjoy reading the posting in this forum regarding Shrimps, Fishes and Plants. I'm a shrimp lover myself. I currently have 19 adults (1 die 1 month ago and I don't know why) and 25 baby shrimps. A lot more on the ways with 6 pregnant mommy. Thinking of upgrading this 4-5 gallon tank to something bigger. Still considering at this moment.

Hopefully 1 day I'll grow carpet and achieve the pearling effect with low cost setup in the shrimp tank. Not sure if that is possible without CO2 but with good lighting.

Actually pearling is just eye candy... with correct conditions most fast growing plants will pearl...well algae also pearls though...haha

Absolutely true but unfortunately with low cost setup seems impossible. At least for me right now. Still trying to work out how to work around the forum. Seriously, I've never use a forum before. lol. Hope I'm doing this correctly and not make a fool of myself.

You did it. I've read some of your blog and I'm running to the washroom. Now I got so much more information to process that my brain is going into overdrive. Think I should get a 6 pack standby to cool my brain. lol.

BTW, what did you do to create the effect of the pool for your year tank. Looks interesting.

well, look around your house for blue stuff...lol can diy using a lot of things....
