    Can someone recommend me an economic and effective surface skimmer for a 3ft tank, and roughly how much $ ?
    I seen a few models, it is not very crucial in brand and price isn't it? Those below $20 will do?
    Please advise.

    Are you using canister filter? I saw a surface skimmer at my LFS selling not than $10. But got to attach to the filter inflow pipe.
