How big should the pebble be to keep the java moss down?

Hey folks.

I just got some java moss.
So instead of using mesh which cost $8.50 (cos i failed Bike TP today, and drop $2 somewhere...) So i decided to make my foreground as java moss.

I pin it to place by adding some small pebbles around 1cm diameter.

Is it too big? Cos from what i saw on the forums thread, people tie the moss round the pebble which i assume would be very big then.

Also I bought Tetrapride RED. Is it overkill? cos my tank is actually a low light tank. I wanted to buy the normal green one, but Y618 dont have.

Yes, you can use java moss as a foreground (like how NA Nature does it).... just lay the moss (thin layer will do) over the front and scatter some gravel (not too much or you will smother them) lighly to weigh it down.

If your is a low light tank, I won't even bother with fertilising. Or changing water even. Is this the same tank as the one you posted about earlier? The one with the winnowed tetras?

yah its that tank.
ive actually rescped the tank and added a nutrafin CO2.
will strive towards getting money to support 15 more watts so can upgrad to 45watts for my 2feet tank.

I actually have some vallis and sword plant...

As it is i have a 15watt spare, but since you guys say lowlight no need mah..

and yah, what does winnow mean?
