Very nice! Sometimes its better to place the main stone slightly left or right, to attract attention.

Decided to go with a simple 3-stone iwagumi layout to start off. Difficult to find nice rocks... So, had to make do with what FB had at that moment.

Took the whole saturday to set it up... this is a shot just after filling.
And... after week 1...

I am balding but i am still young!
No problems at all. Every tank we learn something. Can read up on the golden ratio if you interested. Then read up on iwagumi scapes.
Looking forward to your tank pictures in future!

Wow! tank by the bed, you remind me when i was single and living with my parents.![]()
Nice... The Monte grow fast... It would be nicer if the feature rock is bigger. IMHO...
Nice equipments! How's the shrimps doing? I'm always curious about shrimps in a new tank, cause I never have any luck keeping them for long in a tank that's less than 3 months old, even with 0 ammonia and 0 nitrite...
I love the zebra ottos !

hahah... i must say that the aquasky really does its job well. sufficient lighting with almost no algae at all, only little little bit. i agree on the main rock part, but that time fishy only got small and large rocks, no medium rocks. large rocks = the size of my tank lol. so i search through and pick one of the biggest, nicest and sharpest small rock as main rock.
thank you... the shrimps are inside for only 5 days so far. ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 5... i also got no fan or chiller hahah... only aircon at night. so far so good... btw, they are grade a crs and at the shop, the water temp is 26.6. my temp maybe 27-28 in day and 25-26 at night. acclimate them properly and dont disturb them.![]()
Where did u get them?
