wow you did it again bro. that is some crazy planting. good luck hope to see progress!
Starting a new thread as the old one is no longer relevant. I decided to gamble big time and ripped out the Monte Carlo and Dwarf Hair grass and replaced it with Dwarf Baby Tears and UG (in the back right). No idea if I will be successful and chances are low both will thrive, but I guess I'll see soon enough.

Very neat planting!
nice planting...
wish you all the best for this gamble!
don't think the big leave plant suite this tank as they can grow really huge!![]()
Yea... The lotus type leafy plant rarely gets integrated well in any aquascape. They tend to shade out other plants and they grow really large. Consider removing them. If you into dutch scape, get more stem plants. So far, other than the 'lotus', the scape seems pretty decent.

90 x 50 x 50 cm tank: Eheim 2217; ANS CO2 Solenoid with 60mm intense bazooka; Zetlight 6400; Teco 500 Chiller; Borneo Wild Steel inlet/outlet
Ferts: Dry Mixture/Dr Mallicks. Temp: 26 degrees Substrate: ADA Amazonia
New update, UG didn't do so well by i'm trying again soon, but it's out for now. Well I got inspired by xmas and did a rescape. I still feel those big lotus leaves are nice but more concentrated in the center.

If you want to use the lotus as point of interest, you should not use red plant. Currently the red plant is drawing all the attention.

correct me if I'm wrong, but the point of interest shouldn't be in the middle, according to the rule of thirds

Yes It shouldn't but it doesn't mean you must follow rule of third. You can always break the rule but make sure you understand why otherwise the will just be another planted tank, lack of focus.
that's true.. in any case if you ask me I don't think the large leaf plant is taking away the focus now, since the large rock on the left is pointing to the red plant..

Exactly, as I said on previous post, the red plant is taking all the attention.
