I am not ruling that out.
i suggest an overdosing of a salt bath could be the cause.
my fish are their losing their tail fins ..then their lives and i can do nothing about it after having noted this prob

i AM RULING IT OUT, however
my cardinals, emperors and diamonds were perfectly fine with 3tbsp per 5 gallons of salt, not to mention my corydoras
what i suspect is wrong is that your salt contains some other stuff
have you used the antifungus/finrot yet? or went to buy aquarium salt instead of using the rock salt?

Dea, what's the difference between aquarium salt with that of those we eat? i used those which we eat to salt my tank.. only like 1 teaspoonful...

i know the difference between such salt with my marine salt.. so that is not an issue.. but would just like to know the diff between table salt and aquarium salt.[]
