Hmmm.... CO2 by itself is filled in liquid.... Pressure should be 72bar at a ambient temperature of 32 degree... The only way to know if the cylinder is full or empty, use a weighting scale. The cylinder tare weight is punch on the neck of the cylinder. Just minus away the tare weight of the cylinder and you will be able to get the remaining CO2 in your cylinder.
In additional, you could find your cylinder capacity in Litre on the neck of the cylinder. Example: 10 Litre cylinder will be able to fill with 6.5kg of CO2.
Hence, if you cylinder left with 3.2 kg of CO2, it is half used.
    Noted! 1 bar = 14.5 PSI
If you see your CO2 tanks pressure drop, it mean it'll be empty soon....
For gas related matters, just drop me a pm... I will be glad to aid.... =) . Cheers!

Do you know where can I get top up equipment? Basically to transfer co2 from one tank to another.

It's impossible to transfer CO2 from 1 tank to another tank without a liquid pump(Which cost 10K++).
If you thought of using a hose to transfer from one tank to another cylinder. You will only be trasnfering the CO2 gas, which will be be only a few grams of CO2 over. Don't think it can last a day also.

5 litre already quite heavy to carry to top up, 10 litre might need a trolley

Those in paintball co2 is gas form?

You can go to any hydraulic shop and request for High Pressure Hose for working pressure of 80bar. It will cost you about $4.00 per metre....
However, please note that the cylinder connection is BS 8, which mean you will require a adaptor to connect the hose to the cylinder. The adaptor is $ 15.00 each, and you will need 2 of them. Then simply just connect the hose to the adaptor and you will be able to transfer the CO2 vapour to a empty cylinder.

You staying around Telok Blangah area... Maybe you could go to A & P Hydraulic Pte Ltd at 50 Tuas Avenue 11... They sell a wide range of gas related item.... And you might be able to bump into me when you r there... =) .

They also have another outlet at Blk 3021 Ubi Ave 2 #01-179 S(408897).

Those in paint ball is CO2 gas.... Cos only CO2 will enable to charge in more gas in term of volume...
However, using Nitrogen to charge a little accumulator to 200 bar, and your paint ball could penetrate and kill.... Lol....
I've seen a plastic cap shoot through a zinc metal roof at that kinda of pressure... It's awesome... But super dangerous....

10 Litre cylinder fully filled will be around 20kg.... Not that heavy actually.... I playing with 47 Litre almost everyday.... And they are 70+kg each.....
1 nos. of 47 litre can last you a couple of year...... =) . Price for the 47 Litre cylinder is about same as 10 Litre cylinder..... More worthwhile to buy it.... Haha....

    Hi Irvine,
Since you are working in the gas industry, why dont they make tanks that are cuboid or cube?
Im just curious, sorry for the off topic.

If cube size, how you going to roll them?
The cylinder alone is heavy, by making it round, we will be able to tilt the cylinder and roll them easily.... =D .
You will never see Gas industrial worker carrying the cylinder, they will roll them instead....
Some of my guys can roll 2 cylinders in the same time... Got time I take and post them picture here... =p .

Ahhh i see, that why they make it cylindrical.
Actually i want it to be cuboid so i can utilise the cabinet space,.
    Thanks for the info...

Cylinder has better pressure containment. Cube will have uneven pressure . So not that safe.

@Irvine, your knowledge is awesome and much appreciated. Thanks for sharing and enlighting
