Great tank but seemed like a lot of trimming need to be done during housekeeping.!
Im trying to let the mini fiss grow out to attach it to the bog wood. Im not sure what is the desired length for it to be trimmed.
Any tips? I want to attach them to the branchy bogwood on the right.

Here is my 3 ft tank - just setup a couple of weeks ago to migrate my fish from a smaller 1 ft tank to this one. I will add a couple of dwarf apistos in there some time later..
we are still monitoring the plants to check whether they need CO2. So far so gd..At the moment there are 2 platy and some platy fries in there. Sorry for poor quality pics

I am having a nano tank in my office. The tank is about 6-9 months old. It starts to have green spot aglae on the tank wall and some plants are like E Tenellus are not doing well. Some of the leaves turn brown. I have never done any major water change from day 1. I dose with fertilizers like CaNO3, KHPO4 and K2SO4 3 times a week. The total concentration per week should be about 21 ppm of NO3, 21 of K and 1.5 ppm of PO4.
I am just wondering if there are too much fertilizers in my tank.
What will be the dosing regimen that you guys are following?
mine, first time doing low tech, can't take the waiting

Here are some pictures taken after day 2 of introducing 2 pieces of approx 5 inches tip to tip fins span altum.
This is an old shrimp tank that is 2 years old. I did a rescape by changing some plants and added more wood, and top up ADA soil to lower the ph slightly. I have a pair of electric blue ram, a L183, otto and golden algae eater as neighbor for them.
Any bro here can help advice what type of Altum are they?
For info, this altum tank is running low tech with 2 x 15W T8 white 6700K and canister filter. Nothing else![]()
