    plants

    Hi, how come no need for all the special lights and co2 for plants/ferns/moss to survive ? your tank looks pretty good with minimum attention. cud it be the cool office enviroment ?

    This was my small low tech mini that has been rescaped to mini with high maintenance. First three photos are from my early beginning with aquascaping

    For you interest last one is present (CO2 added). Worse photo quality is caused by no camera stand and the look is not final. I'm planning to put some e.tenellus inside the lawn of hair grass to make it 'more intereting'. Right front part is still not planted. There are some leaves of glosso.

    May I know the size of your tank?

    All plants require CO2, directly or indirectly!

    Most aquatic plants will do reasonably well without CO2 injection.

    Pardon me for nitpicking...

    IME, almost all the aquatic plants can adapt to non-CO2 injected tanks. Only very few really have problem with that.
