anyone know whats the price range for SS and SSS crs in CRS Heaven?

yap wanted to go there and buy some shrimps but need to know the price range first

Let's look at it from another perspective.

Shrimps in bags are cheap while those in tanks are more expensive.
Shrimps from hobbyist are cheap while those from lfs are more expensive.
Why?

Shrimps in bags
These shrimps could have been in the bags for days. The shrimps are stressed out, the water could be poluted, etc. You don't get to pick and choose.

Cheaper than in tanks.

Shrimps in proper tanks
These shrimps living in proper tanks are in better environment/condition and you get to pick and choose.

Price higher than in bags.

Shrimps from hobbyist
Said to be adjusted to local water conditions. Hobbyist doesn't have high operating cost like LFS. Thus, cheaper than LFS.

BUT, some shrimps from hobbyist are more expensive than LFS. WHY? Grade, genes, quality, rarity, etc etc.

Conclusion, pay what is fair to you. Don't be bothered by what others says. Food to one, is poison to another.

yes i know that but just wanted to know the price range because i am setting up a new tank so might want to buy some shrimps from there

6 months ago I think it is about $130 for Mosura, 2 - 3 months ago drop to about $60.

CRS haven is expensive, even for other items. When i first started my first tank, I gong gong went into CRS haven and bought things like GEX soil, some plants, filters, lamps, and some rocks. The uncle there told me I am lucky as it was CNY and they gave me special price.

I did not buy the tank from them and you guys wanna guess how much I paid for those items I mentioned? It came to almost 3 digits.

As I traveled around the island looking for LFS, I started to compare the prices and I were to find out that everthing that I had bought at CRS haven were $4-5 more expensive. Those rocks or plants I bought from them were literally worthless but I paid more than $20 for it and were even assured I were been given special prices.

Sigh, when profit becomes the overiding factor, it's time to look elsewhere. My fav places to buy things are C328, Y618 and Nanyang Seaview. For prices, you sure won't kanna chop at these places.

For that i personally agree with you, especially when you look at the shop its tell you "Shrimp Boutique", and the shop decoration, setting is going to tell you what the price you going to pay. I mean you can compare to C328, its a totally different experience.

it is just like going to big electrical stores in shopping centre or just normal neighbourhood electrical shop to buy electrical stuff. one can save a lot by just visiting the latter after view the stuff in those big stores and get the model number. all same thing with same warranty but still a lot prefer to pay more. up to individual preference.

Side question - Boss where did you buy your profile pic fire red? i have been trying to find good quality fire reds, but cant seem to find. cant find local breeders either
