Im concerned about my tank since the weather nowadays is very hot. My tank is no chiller and is outdoors but slightly shaded.
I have experienced algae but that's not my issue. Im concerned whether the weather will kill anything and what do you guys without chiller do to prevent any casualties.
I have rummy nose Angel fish red Phantom tetra and neon tetra. Otos and Yamato shrimps which I can't find it anymore.

a fan can help lower your tank temperature by 1 or 2 degrees. a consequence is that you may need to top up water daily.
Another way is to freeze ice packs and dump them into a styrofoam box with your filter every morning. refreeze them at night... repeat.
I am balding but i am still young!
I realised the recent hot weather raise my tank temperature to around 30 degree. Hot water temperature with result in lower CO2 solubility. My moss in the tank has turned slightly brown. Using fan but the hot surrounding temperature does not help very much. I am praying hard for my plants to endure thou the hard/ hot times. water evaporation is not my concern now. haha.

Agree that the weather is killing. 2 of my coral reds are dead and also a galaxy rasbora. A chiller now becomes a need rather than a want.

My guppies growth rate increase hahaha
