    Hi all,

Sharing my tank after resetting recently.
I am currently using RAC active soil from Aquarist Chamber (AC).
Was very impressed by AC boss, Alvin's 3 Day quick startup method. =D>
(Disclaimer: not all soil can use the method).

    Below is my simple setup:

    Some of my inhibitants:

    Can you spot them?

I also bought this new timer as my old timer bought down

Haha, now i can switch on/off my tank LED anytime and anywhere in the world

Thanks everyone for view, will post more pictures soon.

    Cheers!

    Hi starfox

great setup! I also went aquarist chamber on Friday and used RAC soil.
i am currently cycling my water and following step by step method.
i just have 1 question: did they ask you to not add anti chlorine and just add aerated tap water?

    Hi Prunkster,

I only use tap water during the cycling. I use aged water or NTUC pure drinking water for weekly water change.

So during cycling, immediate tap water without storing in pail for awhile?

and what's your definition of aged water?

Yes, I used without problems. Aged water = aerated tap water
I usually aged the tap water for 1 week with an airstone.
