ok. Harmful for my vision. I'll probably go "blind" and can't see the tank clearly. lol

bro how are your shrimpeeees?
Hi Subdave,
Shrimps doing fine. Simply grazing around whole day. I've not seen any death so far but they (most of them) have stop being that active like I've shown in the video. I'm testing the China chiller on this 2 ft tank. Guess what happens. When I put in the chiller and starts, shrimping starts again. This time it is slightly different. It's more like they are looking for a place to hide. I guess it's because of the water movement cause by the chiller. They have been in the clam water for many days and suddenly water movement created by the chiller probably scare them a bit.
Overall all doing well. At least for now. lol
Or could be temperature shock? What model is the chiller? Curious

You are installing chiller for RCS?
Chiller is this. http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=...id=13480957886
I'm testing this in the 2 ft rcs tank to see if it can work. Will be removing later tonight into the gex tank for my crs and cbs. That's the real reason for buying this chiller. Small and compact. Just nice on my desk with my gex tank. As for rcs, they are fine with a fan. Water never did go beyond 30 with fan so don't need chiller for rcs yet. hehehe
I don't opt for the normal chiller mainly due to the size and cost. If I use a normal chiller, then it would be very much oversize for my gex slim 45 tank.
over the next few days, I'll post more in "Chiller FAQ" regarding the results on 60 liters tank, 35 liters tank and my gex slim 45 (10+ liters I think).
Bro how much is that in sing? How long did it take to arrive? Want to get one.
I made my order through a former (and8in AQ. My order came in 2 days. If you interested, you can contact him directly.
Disclaimer: I share no interest in the product other than my personal use and testing. I'm in no way, shape or form promoting this product. Hehehe..

Yes, the inlet flow from small chiller is quite strong. So I use bubble pipe to make it slow. That way shrimps will not be afraid. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1400409700.991934.jpg

Gee... never see this before. You got one running to show how it works. Does it works like rainbar? Got sell shorter one cause I might need to use it for my small gex slim 45 tank. Even though I didn't use the water pump that comes along with the chiller, the small water pump I use is 300l/hr but I think still too strong for small tank.

Actually it is for bubble pipe (to be used with air pump). When I looked for rain bar to use with the chilled water outlet pipe, there is no suitable. So I tried it out with this small bubble pipe from C328. There is one more left and price is only SGD5.5. You can extend it up to 19". By the way, I also bought small chiller through and88.
I did wonder who is the other brave fellow willing to try out a china made tem. Hahaha. Hope it is useful for you. Currently testing on 35l tank and it has drop to 25 degree. Seems like it should work for me in my gex slim 45 tank without any issue. Will know when I switch over.

Looks cool, but I wouldn't know how to set up myself definitely.
Sure you can setup. It's just like normal chiller.
Anyone hungry. Care for some shrimp supper.
???????![]()
Hungry mah. So more so many shrimp and tank so little. Dunno what to do. I feel them and they in return feed me mah. Life cycle. lol

ebi sashimi...![]()
Yummy.... You mean no one tried? I'm surprise. It's really much tasty than your usual market prawn. Too bad it's a little small.
Anyway, I'm Chinese. I eat anything that fly other than Boeing 747. I eat anything that has 4 legs other than the table. I eat anything that's in the water other than the submarine. Hahaha......
Seriously, Kimkeat, how old are you. You believe anyone would be crazy enough to experience on RCS or likewise.
Can't blame you though. It does look a little like RCS. And to tell the truth, this is a actual disk serves in a Japanese restaurant (RCS comes from Japan right?). Don't ask me what's the disk name and which restaurant. I was given this photo because I have RCS as a joke. Hope you all have a good laugh.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
