Need more plants, quantity.
helping absorb exceed ammonia in your water column, especially new tank syndrome.
I just decomm my previous tank(Just a step at a time). After much thoughts and planning, I came up with this, A Humble Beginning, given that I've still got a lot to learn from the professionals here.
Tank Parameters: 60cm x 30cm x 36cm
Lighting: Aquazonic T5 24Wx4
Filteration: Eheim Ecco Pro 200
Substrate: ADA Amazonia
Currently:
CO2 - 2pm - 8pm
Lights - 3pm - 9pm
Today(DAY1)

I think its more like sharing.
I am not an expert in iwagumi setup but i personally feel that you can add more hc? Especially in the centre area? I mean you would want the 'focus point' to develop more readily and quickly, no?
Hmmmm.... I think your placement with your inlet and outlet can be improved. It seems that both your inlet and outlet are position at the far end of the tank. Maybe you can shift the outlet towards the front corner of the tank to allow better flow?
Just some of my humble opinions.
Center part substrate can make it even, it will look better if the back is slightly higher instead of front.
the main rock looks abit out of place (haha just like one of my rock, like have something out of place slightly)

I saw your thread on ProjectL and I must say it does inspire me. I showed it to a couple of my friends who were into the hobby and all were astounded by the beauty. I'll move the outlet soon as this is the first time I'm trying the lily pipe. Actually I wanted somemore HC, however the farm actually ran out of stock and I took the last of it. However, I'll still try to look out and get more HC for the focal point.
Yes. I guess I made a mistake of making the front uneven as I wanted to create a 'path-look' towards the rock at the rear. Glad you did notice the main rock though. I'll be rescaping it soon.

Did a rescape during the weekends and apparently because this is the first time I'm using Aquasoil, didn't expect the outcome to be like this
However, I did a couple of water changes and till date after planting a few more HC and a couple of other plants...

Currently dosing LUSHGRO AQUA and MICRO, however I realise that it doesn't contain potassium (K). Any recommendation for dosage of potassium? I'm looking for one that can last as long as the LUSHGRO series.
Apparently it has been a month since the last update on this journal and I must say it has been really enjoyable to witness growth from everything in the aquarium.
Now here's an update on what has happened.
2 weeks into the setup. I introduced my fauna as parents ordered not to have the quarantine tank lying around due to the christmas season. Hence, inserted the cardinal tetras into this setup. On the first night, one of the tetra jumped out of the water and appeared in front of the tank the following morning. As a result, now i only have 9 tetras left ( Auspicious number based on feng shui)
Many of AQ members did feedback about the insufficient amount of flora especially with the HC, hence i did follow all your advice and got myself 4 more pots of HC and after 2 weeks, i did observe them getting from bright green (emersed state) to melting (yellow like never before) to now(dark green and tiny leaves). Now i'm just hoping for it to spread like wildfire.
As for the background, I have did what many would know as the AMANO stance( to sit in front of the scape and think through of how to make it any better) and i came to realise the importance of the missing background plants. Hence, made my way to Capricorn to get myself an awesome bunch of ROTALA INDICA ( recommended by boss). Upon planting, i realized it did look a little weird having a slight pinkish background, probably due to combination of the color of the UP pro z series and the intense maroon color from the rotala. However, now this is what it has become.

nice scape. at least your rotala are standing upright. Mine became curved towards the light.
nice scape! Love the algae growing on the rocks. give it a nice natural feeling.
I have mixed feelings on the rotalas though. its stealling the highlight from the main rock.

@suzerolt: Thank you for the compliment! I certainly do hope it would actually grow much more radiate, especially the HC and Reineckii mini
@reloaded: actually they are curving towards the only source of light, however based on the photo it doesn't appear to be
@erctheanda: Yea the algae did appear to grow on places which I've wanted it to be. I did have thoughts of whether the rotala would steal the spotlight of the rocks though, however much deliberation i decided to give it a go. Now i do have problems with the rotala leaves have dark veins as well as joint marks on them. Probably due to light deficiency?
@paul: Thank you very much for the compliment! I just so happen to have the reineckii mini planted there already. At first it was withering, however i just told myself to let it be, hopefully it would just recover and apparently it did. The Staurogyne was actually planted at another corner of the scape, then i just felt it would look better in front of the reineckii mini, so it turned out well =)
dark veins tend to point to lack of micros nutrients. perhaps can top up on magnesium.

Been long since the last update.
The scape has been attacked by, without saying a photo tells a thousand words, Green Water Syndrome.
Anyone has any recommendations? I've heard of using a UV sterilizer. However anyone has any reviews or feedback for the sterilizer?

HC hasn't been carpeting. Rotala indica has grown magnificently. Same applies to the Reineckii Mini.
Might be considering to get UNO NANA lights to replace current lightings.

Green water is usually due to excess light and nutrient/parameter imbalance... a UV sterilizer will help clear up green water in the short term, but the problem will keep returning if the tank condition is still unbalanced.
Note that if you are already getting green water even with the Up Aqua Z-Series lights, then the UNO Nana lights which have more power would probably make matters worse. It'll be better to stabilize your tank conditions and make sure it runs without problems first (make sure the existing lights, Co2 and nutrient levels are properly balanced), then progressively increase the light intensity, Co2 and fertilizer dosing in stages.

Anyone knows if the Eheim Ecco Pro 200 would be sufficient to provide a efficient flow rate around the tank?
It has been 6 months since this scape has been set up. Really glad with the recent growth after the change of lights. Reineckii mini has grown to be in a glowing red especially on the underside of the leaves. The repens has really lush growth and bushier than ever. Rotalas turned out yellow however, I still loved the green gradient to yellow appearance of it.
Anyway here's some last photos before i decomm the tank for rescape
