i just took precious time to acclimatise my cardinals.
the nxt morning, they're down with ich.. not the first time alrdy... sigh
my boraras r not even infected.
what is the problem?

Hi Prec, the cardinals were probably hosting the parasites when you brought them. Most lfs tends to overcrowd their tanks; causing stress on the fishes. Stressed fishes tends to loose their protective slime coating against parasites. Those cheaper-priced fishes that are sold in bags of 50 or 100pcs, carries the highest risk. Its better to refrain from buying newly-arrived stocks at the lfs, unless you have an extra tank for quarantine.
