looking for internal filter. Is eheim 1000 enough to use for 3 ft tank? 1000l/h.
Eheim 1000 is just a submersible pump, there isn't any filtration it.
Perhaps you could look at canister filters? They have large filtration volume, can be placed below the tank and don't take up valuable space in the tank.
If you are just keeping fishes with minimal plants, then can consider canister filter models like the Eheim 2215... if you are focusing on plants, then go for the models with higher filter flow rate (ie. Eheim 2217 or higher) for better circulation of Co2 and nutrients to the the plants.
thanx for the reply. currently my 3 ft tank, there is a partition for the filter. Is eheim 1000 enough to use for the 3 ft tank
I'm using the Eheim 2260 bucket filter for my 3 x 2 x 1.5. Works great but of course not cheapActually it does puzzle me how a nondescript green plastic bucket with a fist-size water pump can cost that much!
Thanx for replying
