My first time Iwagumi scape.

My first time Iwagumi scape. It is not completed yet as I feel that the right side of the rocks is not quite right.

Any advise on how to further improve on it. Thank you.

Yeah, better to have larger single rocks on the right side rather than a pyramid pile of smaller rocks, looks like have to go rock hunting to find more suitable ones.

Would be interesting if you can roughly mirror the rock arrangement on the left side, but with larger ones on the right side to give it some sense of variation.

Ok,hehe....I better hunt for a big koke stone. Will other type of stone with almost the same color as koke stone be used too or I should stick to the same type of stone.

Yeah, gluing together rocks is possible, just depends on creativity and rock shaping skills.

Better to stick with same stone color and texture... nothing distracts more from a rock scape than a rock with odd color standing out like sore thumb.

Bro...maybe you can consider this:

put all the small rocks on the right as base for the left. This lift up the left side. The current left side rocks look good, but will be higher.

then for the right side, just scattered the few small rocks loosely, from middle back towards right front...

This will create a 3D impact...and no need to hunt for more rocks...

Fishy Business. There are other LFS example Green Chapter and Sun and Pet etc...but haven't got time to go and check it out as I am new to planted tank so not sure which LFS sell a lot of stone.

Finally, done my scaping and install all the piping to the canister. Now I am thinking of what plants should I put in it or just mosses will do for this shrimp planted tank.

I prefer minimum plant as I am a beginner in this hobby. All advice and critic be good or bad are welcome.

I am using ADA koke stone. I was told that it won't have effect on the parameters.
