Initially planned to rescape the entire tank because only hairgrass and rocks gets boring after some time but since the hairgrass carpet was thick and would be a waste to tear it away, so decided to tweak it to accommodate some bucephalandra! Going for the convex bank of a meander look.

Please ignore the brown algae on the hairgrass haha. Had a hard time trying to clear them all by toothbrush and siphon.
Pardon the lousy pic, taken with iphone. In need of a good camera hahaha

    Tank: 4 gallon
    Lighting: Green Element EVO 12
Substrate: Mix of Advance and Planta Soil + Sudo sand
Temp: 26 Celsius (resun CL650 OVERKILL LOL)
Ferts: Borneowild Lush + Borneowild Vivid + API Leaf Zone
    CO2: 1bps
Filtration: APA prefilter (mechanical) + Eheim 2211 (Bio) + Fluidized bed filter (Bio)

Fishes: Albino cory, Boraras Brigittae, Indostomus Paradoxus

    Buceps list:
    Kir Royale
    Chili
    Theia
    Belindae
    Brownie Brown
    Brownie Blue
    Brownie Ghost
    Biblis
    Melawi
    Sanggau narrow leaf

    Others:
    Japanese hairgrass
    Dwarf hairgrass
    Petite Nana

Maybe some yamato shrimps. Still have yet to test the parameters to see if it is suitable for shrimps.

Yamato shrimps would tend to look like giants in small tanks, hence make your tank look even smaller... go for cherry or malayan shrimps instead, they'll preserve the sense of scale in your aquascape.
