Could you share your success on getting the fries to grow to this stage?
Beautiful outcome. I can only see the Angels colony expanding and expanding.
I was lucky as I think the parents are very healthy. I put them in a community tank at first which included fast swimmers like rainbows and cherry barbs and 4 blue angels which were more than twice their size.
When they laid eggs, the cordoned off half my 4 foot tank and kept everyone away.
When I used my hands to bring out the eggs they attacked me.
Was an awesome experience to see such parenthood in fish.
After that it was easy - feed brine shrimps and chopped tubifex worms.
I could not get them to eat dried foods though - anyone has tips how to get them to eat dried food?
