What is the total wattage, guess it the watts to water capacity ratio that matters.
How much it cost, I am thinking of getting one or DIY with 10k Lumi.

The usable light temperature ( kelvin ) is from 5500k to 8800k, if my memory serve correctly. Optimum level is at 6500k for plants. Anything below 5000k is for algae. Any form of man made light equipment will deteriorate but our eyes will not pick the deterioration. For T5, it takes about 9 months for the temperature to shift to lower kelvin ie lesser than what the factory specification. Led is unknown right now. If you notice algae started to overtake your tank, time to change to new bulb. The number one cause of light deterioration is heat.
If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.

It's cost a hundred. Not too sure the watt but it's very bright in intensity.

Should I mixed in red?

Brightness counts for nothing if its in the wrong range.

Sorry, all it's 35 watts. My tank is 39 liters about 10 gallon. Going by 1 watt per gallon think is more than sufficient. Correct me if I'm wrong. Ism not too sure about it. Thanks
