I wouldn't suggest scraping... I did that once on bba and it spreaded across the tank ==

Can I just scrap them off the glass?
Thats quite a lot of hair algae on the glass... best way to remove them is to switch off the filter, then use a sponge to carefully wipe away the algae from the glass in an upward direction. Make sure to capture and clear as much of the algae out of the tank as possible, try not to allow strands to float around and then get caught in the plants or hardscape, that should help minimize them spreading around and growing in other areas.

Can try... but if you have fauna in the tank, just have to be more careful with the dosage and application method (don't dose too much and avoid dosing directly on the livestock).

I got from their A and B grade tank. Each $5 member pricing. The colour is not bad, looks better than its supposed grading.

The ones at seaview cost me $40 for 10 pieces. S grade.

Seaview is cheap but the water quality is very different from my tank. Have to keep fingers cross for the next few days.

Their water PH is 7.6 and TDS at 170. My PH is 5.5 and TDS is 90. Hopefully it wouldn't cause a shock. Used drip acclimation method but after 2 hours of dripping, TDS dropped to 120. But PH remained 7.6.

New tank. Slowly increasing it. So far have couple of molts with no issues though. Don't want to increase it at one shot. Aiming for about 110.

Before you added shrimps you could have already increased it, what are you using to increase tds? I've been wanted to try salty shrimps product, saw very good reviews on it
