Macro refers to NPK. Micro refers to trace elements.
normally aquasoil provides N and some P. So you still have to dose K on your own
but overtime, after the tank matures, N and P needs to be supplemented via liquid ferts too. But yet again it depends on your plant mass, CO2 level and light intensity.
So for new low tech tanks..what should we be dosing? Have montecarlo and hairgrass only..lights is up aqua pro z lights..substrate is ada amazonia

Your tank is looking awesome. I really like the placement of the rocks. Not too sure about the Marsilea Hirsuta though, the transition feels a bit too unnatural. But still awesome!
I didn't remove the old substrate but just top up about half inch and the slope for the rocks with new ada. Lighting wise, on for 5 hours in the first 2 weeks and then follow by 8 hourly from 9am to 5pm. Water change about 4 litres once every 5 to 7 days. So far, everything seem to be fine.
Bro nice iwagumithe rocks are Grey river rocks or Seiryu rocks?
Do not visit LFS if you got nothing in mind, you will end up getting nothing or useless stuff ......
