    Good looking A.bitaeniata.
Good and proper finnage and color.
Was wondering why you name it as A.bitaeniata only? No known locality during the purchase??
He looks like the A.bitaeniata "Tefe" morph..
    Existing Line Breeding List:
    A.bitaeniata" Rio Tefe",A.bitaeniata" Mamuri",A.sp.Abacaxis,A.Piaroa"Colombia",A.uaupesi" Sao Gabriel",A.elizabethae"Sao Gabriel"
Coming soon: And any other species of Apistogramma!!

This pair was from AC, should be farm-bred.

Anyway, taken another video for the 5 days old frys, feeding on bbs.

Fantastic! Your apistos must be very happy where they are. If you've ever raised ram fry, how would you compare the ease of raising those compared with the apisto fry?

Not so bad . Just that my tank setup very dull and low light, can't really appreciate the beauty much.

I never ever raised any ram fry before, but i think they are more or less the same. The hardiest most probably trying to get the ram pairing up.

    Re: My apistogramma Bitaeniata

Apisto frys are raised by female.

Bonded ram pairs are good parents, new ram pairs cannot be trusted

But I rather raise them artifically. To increase the frys survival rate.

    Re: My apistogramma Bitaeniata

This batch of fries seems to skew towards high female ratio. I was surprised to find this female hiding behind the java fern had mated with the male before he was sold.

Anyway, i took a closeup video on this female caring its brood of frys.
