Home-made and ready-made fish diets containing beefheart have long been associated with bluer blues, greener greens and more vibrant reds in discus and other cichlids. We've taken the mess out of prepping raw beefheart and rendering it into a palatable, easy-to-feed form. The newest addition to our flake line contains 30% beefheart by wet weight - a lot by any measure - a natural source of the carotenoid and anti-oxidant, lycopene. We've also added Naturose and carophyll, an FDA approved source of the carotenoid, astaxanthin. Ideal for discus, angels, piranha, and even axolotls. Manufactured using low-temperature technology to protect heat labile proteins, lipids and vitamins. Exceptional water stability.

Ingredients: Fish hydrolisates, soy, yeast, krill, beefheart, egg, wheat flour, wheat gluten, casein, garlic, spirulina, shell-free artemia, Naturose, High HUFA algae, phospholipids, Carophyll, stabilized Vitamin C, vitamin and mineral premix. Hi. Can this products be fed to light coloured discus such as platinum or snow white? Will astaxanthin make the colour becoming orangie or pinkish?
